Recommended Ink Colors

Why I Chose These Colors

Although it's fast, easy and fun to specify colors in Adobe Illustrator based on how they look onscreen, solid ink colors that look just fine on the computer monitor don't always work so well offline, when printed on paper.

I selected the ink colors I recommend based on how they look in Pantone swatch books, both as solid colors and when converted for four-color process printing. In choosing them, I looked for pleasing colors, appropriate for branding a range of law firms, that will reproduce and match consistently online and on paper.

All the logo concepts on the Logos for Lawyers site use combinations of these recommended colors. I hope they'll give us a good starting point for choosing the perfect colors for your law practice logo.
